چکیده
Much space is being devoted in the daily press to the question of the increased incidence of juvenile delinquency since the outbreak of war. In surveying the present problem it has to be borne in mind that juvenile delinquency was increasing year by year for about ten years up to 1937 and that, after the passing of the Children and Young Persons Act in 1933, the increase became much more marked for the following reasons (adduced in a recent survey?Bagot, 1940) :
